• A previous stadium of the same name was built for the 1954 FIFA World Cup, when it staged six matches including a semi-final.

• The 1969, 1975, 1979 and 1984 European Cup Winners' Cup finals were also played at Basel's old home.

• The current venue was opened in 2001 and hosted six UEFA EURO 2008 games, including the opening fixture and a semi-final (won, as in 1954, by Germany).

• The stadium is known as 'Joggeli' to Basel fans.

• The stadium complex includes a shopping centre and a retirement home.

The club was founded in 1892 and joined the Football League the following year. The club has played at Anfield since its formation. Sevilla Fútbol Club, S.A.D.

or simply Sevilla, is Spain’s oldest football club solely devoted to association football. Sevilla FC is based in Seville, capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia. Sevilla is one of the teams that play in Spain’s top flight, La Liga. The club was formed on 25 January 1890, with Scotsman Edward Farquharson Johnston being their first president. A few years later, on 14 October 1905, the club’s articles of association were registered in the Civil Government of Seville under the presidency of the Jerez-born José Luis Gallegos Arnosa.

Sevilla is also the most successful club in Andalusia, winning a national league title in 1945–46, five Spanish Cups (1935, 1939, 1948,2007 and 2010), one Spanish Super Cup (2007), a record four UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cups (2006, 2007, 2014 and 2015) and the2006 UEFA Super Cup. They were also designated by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics as the world's best club in 2006 and 2007, thus being the first club to achieve this distinction in two consecutive years. Sevilla's main rivalry is with their cross-city club Real Betis, whom they compete with in the Seville derby.
